Direct Agents was happy to be in attendance at this week’s Affiliate Summit West in Las Vegas. Caesar’s Palace proved to be a lavish yet accommodating venue for the conference that hosted over five thousand participants, the largest Affiliate Summit West show to date. Attendees, representing both domestic and international companies, were in good spirits as event goers had ample time to explore the various opportunities that were shared amongst the affiliates, agencies, merchants, networks and vendors in attendance, all while enjoying the atmosphere, food, and setting of the Las Vegas strip.

Startups and well established agencies alike took advantage of the potentially mutual beneficial relationships that undoubtedly formed throughout the week. From the first handshakes of the Meet Market to the final breakdown during the last hour, Direct Agents representatives met with business owners, agencies, and CMOs to facilitate lead generation and customer acquisition strategies for companies in a variety of verticals. It seemed that within the exhibition halls, business cards and contact information were changing hands faster than the poker chips at the tables not two hundred yards away.

Keynote speakers and panel discussions, one hosted by Direct Agents’ VP of Ad Sales Megan Conahan, were scheduled each day as leaders in the affiliate marketing industry came together to brainstorm unexplored synergies amongst the companies. With such an accomplished and experienced group of marketing professionals, the temperature of the affiliate marketing industry was assessed and explored in a way that could only happen at a convention of this size and magnitude.

Overall, it was a great experience that I felt lucky to be a part of.  I was proud to have been selected to be part of the team that represented Direct Agents as both our team and services have gained recognition amongst our peers at these events for the outstanding quality and service we provide our clients.
