The Problem

A line of natural food for dogs and cats sells their product on Amazon, a highly competitive space for pet products. Since the market for ‘pet supplies’ on Amazon is highly saturated, their products were virtually invisible resulting in a decline in sales. Direct Agents began managing the account in late January 2018 to help regain the lost visibility, rankings and revenue on Amazon.

Solution

Direct Agents began extensive keyword research around each product, focusing on unique attributes to create highly targeted content in order to increase each product’s visibility on the SERP. Direct Agents then optimized each key attribute for every product including optimizing A+ content and the brand storefront.


The Results

Within months, there was a prominent increase across major KPIs. Overall keyword visibility increased more than 800% with 566% more keywords appearing on Page 1 since February. Due to this increase, products began appearing as an “Amazon Choice” product, which helped revenue climb 46% from February to June.
