ChildFund International is a dedicated children’s charity with high ratings from charity review organizations such as Charity Navigator, the American Institute of Philanthropy, and Charities Review Council. For over 75 years, ChildFund has been addressing children’s rights and needs across multiple areas, from education to health and nutrition.
In July of 2014, ChildFund International chose to work with Direct Agents on improving their performance of organic metrics, including traffic, rankings, and revenue. Direct Agents began this engagement with an audit that identified on-site optimization, specifically meta data optimization and link building as two of the strongest opportunities for ChildFund in SEO.
We started off by performing a comprehensive search behavior analysis and keyword research to identify opportunities. Then, we optimized meta data across the site to include more relevant and higher search volume terms. Finally, by using our proprietary link building tool which allows our analysts to find high quality linkless mentions, we conducted a link building campaign that generated numerous successful backlinks from editorials across the web.
By September, ChildFund International was already seeing strong growth across KPIs. By December, organic traffic was up 118% YoY and revenue increased by 422%.
